Macro is when you are taking picture in a small depth of field, usually used for small things. These pictures were taken with an aperture of 3.1.
These pictures are photo-shopped to bring out the best in the picture and make it look more attractive to the viewer. I mainly used the saturation, vibrance, contrast and black and white settings.
